   The device should be safely installed and operated in a secure and dry place.
 
   To set up the device, pull out the support stand (5).
   Initial commissioning
     Notice  
   The battery compartment is inside the device.
1. Press the housing cover (6) opener.
2. Remove the housing cover (7).
3. Insert the battery into the battery compartment.
   4. Close the housing cover (7).
5. Turn the selector switch (8) to "Beat" for sound and light display.
✔ The LED (1) flashes and the loudspeaker sounds.
   Metronome operation
   1. Turn the selector switch (8) to "Beat" for sound and light display.
2. Turn the selector switch (8) to "Light" for light display.
   
3. Turn the TEMPO dial (2) to the required tempo (40 to 208 beats per minute), see marking (4).
✔ The marking points to the selected bar.
   Sound producing
   To use the device for tuning, proceed as follows:
1. Turn the selector switch (8) to "Beat".
2. Turn the TEMPO dial (2) to "A4".
✔ The reference tone (440 Hz) sounds.
   Using together with earphones (10)
   The external sound is switched off as soon as the earphones are plugged into the connector (9). The sound is then directed to the earphones.
