MADE IN GERMANY
Metronome TAKTELL® "JUNIOR" is backed by over 100 years of experience in precision
instrument production.
For indicating the tempo this pocket-sized model with its
loud tick, long running time, high accuracy and reliability is a worthy peer of the
large-sized Maelzel-Metronome.
lnsert key at right side of the case to wind up spring. Place key inside the cover
when carrying the metronome around.
WITTNER® TAKTELL® Metronomes have a solid spring, therefore you may wind up the clockwork
until you feel a resistance.
Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small pieces which may present
a choking hazard.
Important: Wind up the metronome only immediately before use. Don‘t keep it for
a longer time in fully wound-up condition. Thus the service life of the main spring
will be increased considerably.
lmportant: lf you wish to re-hang the pendulum after using the metronome then
set the pendulum sliding weight at tempo 208. Doing so you avoid any scratching
of the scale.
General features: The metronome serves to denote the tempo at which a musical
composition is to be performed. The metronome tempo is specified at the
beginning of a musical composition.
For 80 =𝅘𝅥 for example, the shifting weight
on pendulum is raised till the upper edge of weight is in exact alignment with the
line marked 80 on the scale. Then set the pendulum in motion. After movement
has become regular, each beat is equal to one quarter note (crotched) for the
respective musical composition.
With the musical composition marked 80 =𝅗𝅥 , each pendulum movement indicates a half note (minim).
Indications of beats according to tempo:
Largo 40–60
Larghetto 60–66
Adagio 66–76
Andante 76–108
Moderato 108–120
Allegro 120–168
